Our current staff includes a team of 26 experienced music educators serving over 200 students in the Boston Public Schools. Next year, we are planning to add an additional orchestra and Teaching Artists to best support our students.

The Josiah Quincy Orchestra Program is seeking a mission-driven Grant Writer in a part-time capacity. Responsibilities include researching, writing, and coordinating annual grant application processes; management of proposals and reports; and, maintaining our development database. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience working for a nonprofit organization, with a demonstrated ability in writing successful grant proposals. The Grant Writer will report to the Executive Director.
College Arts Administrative Internship Program
The Music/Arts Administration Intern will assist the Executive Director and Program Manager with day-to-day operations and learn about the various components of managing a school-based El Sistema program, including but not limited to faculty observation, curriculum development, program to parent communication, and program to school relations.
