These past two weeks the Kindergarten Orchestra has been hard at work building paper instruments. Completion of this multi-step process is a significant milestone for the kindergarten students, as it enables them to begin learning safe handling of their instruments and technique. Though the process requires much patience from the students, it also rewards them with instruments of their own creation. Parents and older siblings in the orchestra program were invited to help with both papier maché and painting of the instruments.
Thank you to Ms. Kelly and Ms. Schwartz for all of their hard work in putting preparing the paper instrument parts. Want to see our kindergarten students play their paper instruments? Then come to our Winter Show on Thursday, December 17th at 6:30pm at Josiah Quincy Elementary School!
